Serie A leader Atalanta can move within a point of the Champions League summit by beating Real Madrid on Tuesday.
Atalanta has dazzled as one of Europe’s surprise packages so far this season and the Serie A leader plays host to Real Madrid on Tuesday hoping to celebrate a piece of Champions League history. La Dea have never got the better of Los Blancos in any of their three previous meetings, and the latter travels to Italy in a state of desperation having lost each of its last two games on the continent. Real Now finds itself down in 24th in the Champions League pecking order, with the defending champion all of a sudden at a must-win stage if its to remain in the competition.

Real’s slide in form has been a surprise to most, and a trip to Bergamo may not be what the doctor ordered as an Atalanta team that’s won nine in a row awaits at the Gewiss Stadium.
