Both sides lead their respective domestic leagues and neither has sustained a loss across all competitions since mid-January, setting the stage for an epic contest, as both teams come into this match in top form. Manchester City has dominated this series of late, going 4-1-2 against Real Madrid in the Champions League since February 2020, winning all three matches played on home soil.
