The North Carolina Courage will travel to take on the Orlando Pride in NWSL action on Wednesday.
Inter & Co Stadium is set to host an exciting matchup between home side Orlando Pride and visiting North Carolina Courage on Wednesday night in a NWSL matchup. The Pride come into this mid-week match with a record of 3-3-0 so far which gives the team a spot in fourth place in the NWSL standings with 12 points. The team’s most recent game resulted in a 3-2 victory over the Washington Spirit on Friday night. Angelina opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with an assist from Barbra Banda. The Spirit tied things up just before halftime, but Banda came out of the locker room and regained the lead for the Pride after receiving service from Julie Doyle. Summer Yates scored an unassisted goal for the Pride just six minutes later and the team was able to hold on for the win. Orlando will be without Brianna Martinez due to her receiving a red card on Friday.

The Courage are currently in second place in the NWSL standings with a record of 4-0-2 so far, giving them 12 points toward their season total thus far. On Saturday, North Carolina took on the Seattle Reign and earned a narrow 1-0 victory. The lone goal of the game was scored in the 37th minute after Ashley Sanchez found Tyler Lussi, who effortlessly put the ball past Lauren Ivory in net to take the lead. The Courage were able to hold on for the remainder of the game despite the Reign getting off 17 shots in the match.
The last time these two clubs met was in September last year and the game resulted in a 2-1 victory for Orlando. They will meet again in June.
