How to Watch Real Madrid vs. Bayern Munich: Stream Champions League Live, TV Channel

Two of Europe’s most decorated clubs go to war once more as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich duke it out for a place in the Champions League final on Wednesday.

Real Madrid is just two wins from celebrating yet another momentous double as it hosts Bayern Munich in the second leg of a Champions League semifinal where everything sits on a knife’s edge. German juggernaut Bayern performed above its means last week and almost snared a first-leg advantage before Vinicius Junior scored his second of the evening to pull Real back level in the closing minutes. That means the winner at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday will advance no matter how slight the victory, with Carlo Ancelotti & Co. striving to reach their second Champions League decider in the last three seasons.

Both of these teams were 1-0 winners when they last featured in the European blockbuster, with Real beating Liverpool to the crown in 2022, while Bayern edged Paris Saint-Germain by the same margin in 2020.

The winners of 20 Champions League and European Cups between them, Real and Bayern are two of the most successful teams in continental history—albeit a disproportionate 14 of those titles belong to Real.

Los Blancos looked to be on the verge of a 2-1 defeat at the Allianz Arena before Vinicius stepped up to convert a late penalty in Bavaria, adding to his opening goal from the first half.

The Brazil winger will once again be key at home, where Real beat Cadiz 3-0 over the weekend and celebrated another title in La Liga following Girona’s 4-2 victory over Barcelona.

Jude Bellingham, Brahim Diaz and Joselu each got on the score sheet in that encounter as Ancelotti rested much of his first string in preparation for Wednesday.

Thomas Tuchel also rotated his guard as Bayern suffered yet another Bundesliga defeat on Saturday (its seventh of the season) and succumbed 3-1 at Stuttgart.

Eric Dier came off at the interval in that defeat and could be a doubt to face Real, while Matthijs de Ligt is still recovering, and the wide pairing of Raphael Guerreiro and Kingsley Coman are out of action.

    Regional restrictions may apply.
