Since opening 2025 with a home victory over Real Betis, Los Albivioletas have embarked upon a torrid run of form and lost nine of their last 10 outings, taking a single point from the past 30 on offer. Fortunately for this weekend’s hosts, Valladolid has enjoyed a fine record at home to Getafe in recent years and gone unbeaten the last eight times these teams have faced off at this venue.

That being said, Getafe has displayed a rise in form during the second half of the campaign and has failed to win just one of its last four road fixtures. 

A 2-1 defeat at home to Villarreal last weekend has left Jose Bordalas’ men 12th in La Liga, though a clash against the worst team in Spain’s top flight presents a major opportunity to make ground:

And it’s fair to say the visiting outfit would take a repeat of that scoreline after failing to keep a clean sheet in any of its last six games, with a chance to climb into the top half of La Liga.
