Riding a two-match unbeaten streak, Mallorca heads west on Monday in search of its first win at Sevilla in 15 years.

Off its first win since the calendar rolled over to 2025, Mallorca aims to remain in the top half of the La Liga table on Monday as Los Piratas visit Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium looking for its first win in Sevilla since 2010. Sevilla comes into this fixture after a 4-0 away victory at Real Valladolid eight days ago and tries to secure a home victory for the first time since mid-December, having tallied only two points in its last three home matches. The sides played to a scoreless draw in the reverse fixture in August that saw 11 shots put on target in the first 0-0 finish in this series since Nov. 2022.

Mallorca is the only team in the top half of the La Liga table with a negative goal differential sitting at -7 through its first 24 matches. Kosovo forward Vedat Muriqi leads the island side with six goals this season with three coming in the last two matches, both games resulting in points for Los Piratas. In his fourth season with Mallorca, Muriqi has 32 league goals, including a career high 15 goals during the 2022-23 campaign.

With a goal and an assist in last Sunday’s 4-0 win at Real Valladolid, Sevilla’s Dodi Lukebakio has extended his team lead to 10 goals in 24 matches this season. The 27-year-old Belgium native has doubled his goal output from last season after bouncing around the German Bundeslida over the last five years.

Mallorca has lost seven consecutive trips to Sevilla being outscored 12-4 in that span, dating back to a 2-1 win in Nov. 2010. Los Piratas did snag a Copa del Rey win at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in 2013, but has only scored one goal in the four La Liga matches since then.
