Liverpool will temporarily move to the top of the Premier League with a win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, but a stutter on the south coast earlier this season should put the Reds on high alert. Even a draw would be enough for Jurgen Klopp’s men to move up to first considering they enter Week 29 sat level on points with joint-leader Arsenal, though dropping points at home would be a major disappointment for the Merseysiders. The Seagulls struck from behind to draw 2-2 when Liverpool visited the Amex Stadium in October, and they travel this weekend hoping to go unbeaten in four consecutive trips to Anfield.

The Kop may be one of the most intimidating sights in Premier League soccer, but Brighton has proved itself undaunted by the prospect in recent years, drawing in each of its last two visits.

That’s in addition to the already sidelined group including Diogo Jota, Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Thiago Alcantara, while Curtis Jones is also a doubt to be available.
