The Sounders will take on the Rapids on the pitch tonight in Major League Soccer.
The Sounders are one of the MLS’ perennially great teams. However, the start of this season has not been kind to the club. It is just 4-5-1 with a total of 13 points through 10 games.
They did get a win in its last game that ended 1-0 against the Dynamo. Raúl Ruidíaz scored the game’s only goal in the 28th minute to give Seattle the win.

The Rapids are part of the four-way tie in the middle of the Western Conference. Four teams through 12 games have a total of 15 points and a zero goal differential: the Dynamo, Rapids, Minnesota United and the Timbers.
They are not coming off of a win though losing to Sporting Kansas City in their last game 2-1. Dániel Sallói struck first for KC in the 24th minute. However, Lucas Esteves was able to answer for Colorado tying back up at 1-1 in the 29th minute.
Sallói scored in the 50th minute giving Kansas City the win.
Colorado is pretty strong on the attack up front with Diego Rubio being the most lethal forward and goal-scorer on the team. Seattle, on the other hand, possesses a balanced attack with Jordan Morris and Raúl Ruidíaz up front and Nicolás Lodeiro and Cristian Roldán backing them up in the midfield.
Colorado has a set and secure defense giving the reigns in every game thus far to William Yarbrough, who puts them almost top 10 in saves in the MLS.
