The most obscure derby in the Premier League will be revived when Brighton hosts Crystal Palace on Sunday. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

Crystal Palace has gone unbeaten in four consecutive Premier League games for the first time this season as the club travels to Brighton & Hove Albion for the latest edition of England’s most unexpected rivalry. But what the ‘M23 Derby’ lacks in historical context it’s now making up for in the quality possessed by both teams, who have established themselves as top-flight regulars for almost a decade. The Eagles have lost in each of their last two trips to the Amex Stadium but are looking to flip that script after stumbling on their best string of results so far this campaign.

It was back in February that Brighton battered Palace 4-1 on the south coast, with four different goalscorers popping up to stamp the Seagulls’ footprint on the fixture.

In fact, Palace hasn’t managed to beat Brighton home nor away for more than three years, but manager Oliver Glasner will be looking to buck that trend as he gets his first experience of this clash.

And things do appear to be on the up for the south Londoners, who booked an away win at Ipswich Town amid some impressive draws against the likes of Aston Villa and Newcastle of late.

The Eagles managed to take a share of the spoils at home to reigning Premier League champion Manchester City last time out, where they twice lost the lead en route to a 2-2 draw:

Brighton, meanwhile, is currently three games without a win and could make it four for the first time this season unless it manages to stop the rot at the Amex.

That bid won’t be helped by the club’s extensive injury list, with Ferdi Kadioglu, Adam Webster, Solly March, Jack Hinshelwood and James Milner each certain to sit out for the hosts.

Adam Wharton and Matheus Franca remain sidelined for Palace, meanwhile, as defender Rob Holdin continues to be frozen out by head coach Glasner.

Regional restrictions may apply.
