Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak leads the team with 11 goals on the season and has now collected his third consecutive double-digit goal scoring season. The 25-year-old Sweden native, Isak scored 44 goals across all competitions in four seasons with Real Sociedad of Spain’s La Liga before joining The Magpies on a six-year deal in August of 2022. Isak posted a record year with his national team as well scoring five goals for Sweden with four coming in UEFA Nations League play in the fall.

Man United leading scorer Bruno Fernandes will miss Monday’s game due to yellow card accumulation leaving the scoring responsibilities to forwards Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee who have combined for seven goals thus far on the campaign.
