Ipswich Town is chasing a second straight away win when it travels to Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Watch the game free on Fubo.

Nottingham Forest’s form has hit the floor as it looks to avoid a third straight Premier League defeat when it hosts Ipswich Town on Saturday, 30 years after the two teams last faced off as top-flight opponents. The first season of Friends was still airing on television when Forest hosted the Tractor Boys as Premier League rivals in December 1994, winning 4-1 on that occasion as Ipswich ended the campaign bottom of the table. Kieran McKenna’s side will hope to avoid a repeat of history this time around, however, by extending their three-match unbeaten run at the City Ground.

Ipswich come into this fixture having fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 at home to Manchester United in Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge of the Red Devils last weekend.

McKenna’s men managed to pull off a 2-1 win away to Tottenham Hotspur to land their first win of the campaign prior to that, and a second straight road victory could lift them out of the relegation zone.

After looking like one of the surprise packages earlier in the campaign, Forest is now fighting to prove it belongs among England’s big boys after losing a second straight game at Arsenal last time out:

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side still sit and impressive seventh in the Premier League standings, but there’s a bevy of teams waiting to leapfrog them given just three points separate them from 12th.

Forest dropped valuable points against Newcastle after falling 3-1 at home just before the recent international break, just their second defeat at the City Ground this season.

Ipswich, on the other hand, has performed better on the road than in front of its own fans this term and will be hopeful of earning at least a share of the spoils come Saturday.
