Georgia and Armenia face off on Sunday in UEFA Nations League action.

Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena is set to host the exciting weekend matchup between Georgia and Armenia on Sunday in the second leg of the UEFA Nations League playoffs. The two nations are facing off in the promotion/relegation matches to see which teams will be moving up or down in the divisions of the Nations League. Georgia finished in third place in the first group of League B with seven points in six matches, to go along with an overall record of two wins, one draw and three losses. Meanwhile, Armenia was the second-placed team in the fourth group in League C with seven points in six matches and an overall record of two wins, one draw and three losses as well.

Georgia and Armenia met in the first leg of the draw on Thursday at Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, where the Georgian national team took a 3-0 victory over the Armenians.

Giorgi Kochorashvili opened the scoring in the 32nd minute of the match for Georgia. Then, Lyon forward Georges Mikautadze doubled the lead in the 37th minute to take a 2-0 difference into halftime.

Finally, it was Mikautadze who put the nail in the coffin in leg one to make it 3-0 in the 59th minute of the match.

The other teams facing off in the League B vs. League C promotion/relegation playoffs are Kosovo and Iceland, Bulgaria and the Republic of Ireland and Slovakia going up against Slovenia for a spot in League B.

Kosovo and the Irish team both won their first legs 2-1, while Slovakia and Slovenia drew 0-0 in their leg one affair.
