Hartford Athletic will welcome Loudoun United FC to Trinity Health Stadium on Friday night as part of the regular season of the USL Championship. Hartford is currently in last place in the USL Eastern Conference with a record of 1-3-7 for a total of six points. The club has lost its last two USL Championship matches with the latest being a 2-1 loss to the Charleston Battery. In the loss, Charleston scored seven minutes into the match to take a 1-0 lead into the locker room before scoring again at the 50th minute to make it a 2-0 game. Hartford was able to add one to the scoreboard by means of a Thomas Presthus goal assisted by Sebastian Anderson in the 80th minute, however, that was all the club could generate. On the season, goalkeeper Antoyny Siaha is in 8th place in the Eastern Conference with 26 saves so far.

On the season, Abdellatif Aboukoura has 10 goals earning him second best in the Eastern Conference while goalkeeper Hugo Fauroux is tied for fifth in the Eastern Conference with 29 saves. Aboukoura scored again in stoppage time at the end of the first first half with an assist from Florian Valot, giving the club the lead. Detroit scored again in the 52nd minute to tie the game yet again, but in the 64th minute, Zach Ryan scored to game-winning goal with an assist from Kwame Awuah.

Loudoun United and Hartford Athletic last met in April and the game resulted in a 2-0 win for Loudoun.
