The team will look to bounce back after dropping a 2-1 game to Phoenix Rising FC its last time out. Phoenix scored early on, forcing New Mexico to play from behind. The game was 1-0 in Phoenix’s favor at the break, but Rising scored again to extend that lead. Orrin McKinze Gaines II was able to cut that lead in half with six minutes left in regulation play, but the team came up just short to suffer its second straight loss.
