Most recently, the Wings dropped their second-straight game in a lopsided defeat to the Lynx on Tuesday night. Dallas’s Arike Ogunbowale’s 16 points weren’t enough as Aeriel Powers and the Lynx controlled the game from start to finish in a 92-64 victory.
As for the Sparks, Los Angeles gave the first-place Aces all they could handle in a narrow 79-73 victory for Las Vegas on Monday night. Los Angeles’s Nneka Ogwumike and Lexie Brown combined to score 35 points, but it wasn’t enough to beat the red-hot Aces.
The Wings will try to snap a two-game losing streak as they welcome the Sparks to the College Park Center in Dallas on Friday night.
