No. 1-ranked Oklahoma hosts the Big 12 women’s gymnastics championship finals on Saturday at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman.
Two top-10 teams will compete Saturday at the Big 12 women’s gymnastics championship finale at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma. The five-team field is led by No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 8 Denver, both already qualified for the NCAA regionals on April 3. BYU, Iowa State and West Virginia make up the rest of the field. With the Big 12 having more than four teams for the first time, the rotation in the finals will include a bye for each team. The Sooners open on vault, with the Cougars on uneven bars, the Mountaineers on the balance beam and the Cyclones performing floor exercises while the Pioneers have the first bye.

Three gymnasts enter the Big 12 championships with 9.9750 marks on the vault, including the Oklahoma duo of Katherine LeVasseur and Jordan Bowers along with Denver’s Jessica Hutchinson. Bowers and Audrey Davis of the Sooners each recorded perfect 10s on the uneven bars this season.
Oklahoma also had two gymnasts notch 10s on the balance beam, with Ava Seigfeldt and Ragan Smith both achieving the milestone. Hutchinson recorded 10s on the floor exercises twice this season while Bowers closed the season with a 10 against Alabama on Sunday.
Bowers finished the season with the best all-around score in the conference, a 39.850, also against the Crimson Tide.
