The Braves were up 1-0 after the seventh inning after a 0-0 first through sixth innings. Ozzie Albies hit an RBI double that scored Ronald Acuña Jr. It wasn’t until the bottom of the ninth inning that Seattle played heroics. Designated hitter Mitch Garver hit a walk-off two-run home run 412-ft into the stands to give the game to the home team.

Atlanta will turn to Reynaldo López on the mound in this second game of the series. The right-hander is 2-0 this season with a sub-1.00 ERA of 0.72 and 24 strikeouts with eight walks. He went 7.0 innings with one earned run on three hits in a 4-3 win against the Miami Marlins. He also struck out six batters while walking one.
Luis Castillo will get the nod for Seattle in this game at home. The right-hander is 2-4 this season with a 4.15 ERA and 42 strikeouts with seven walks. Just five days ago he started his last outing that ended in a 4-3 road win over the Texas Rangers. He allowed two runs over 6.0 innings with six strikeouts and two walks.
