Ashley Sanchez started off the scoring in the 12th minute of play to give the Courage a 1-0 lead and the team never looked back. Just before halftime, the team extended that lead with an own goal which was credited to Kate Del Fava. Casey Murphy made one save to earn her second shutout of the young season.
