Dieng will look to continue his strong play and impress the Oklahoma City Thunder, the NBA affiliate, building off a season where he has averaged 17.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game in 26 games.

Maine made the playoffs winning eight of the last 10 games in the regular season and then advanced to the championship series with playoff wins over the Delaware Blue Coats and then the Long Island Nets in single game series. Now they are two wins away from their first NBA G League Championship in their first appearance in the finals.

Only one team finished the regular season stronger than Maine and that was Oklahoma City. They finished the regular season 9-1 in the final 10 games and went through the most challenging path to the finals this season. They needed overtime to defeat the Rio Grande Valley Vipers before taking down the second-seeded Sioux Falls Skyforce and then top-seeded Stockton Kings to push to the Finals today.
