The Nittany Lions are 5-1 this season and 2-1 against conference opponents for a spot at the top of the Big Ten standings. The team’s only loss came against Ohio State, but the squad bounced back to win the next two, the most recent being a 321.750-312.550 over No. 5 Illinois last weekend on the road. Senior Josh Karnes won three event titles (parallel bars, floor and high bar) and junior Matt Underhill (rings) added one more to bring PSU’s team total to four. The win wasn’t secure until the team finished on high bar, its final rotation, but with three of the top four spots belonging to the Nittany Lions, they were able to walk away with another victory.

Nebraska and Penn State have met a total of 15 times in their history and the Cornhuskers hold a narrow 8-7 advantage in the all-time series. Tune in Sunday to see if Penn State can tie it up with another Big Ten win.
