Trenton BIC lost to Paterson U in the championship game last year 47-41 but came back this year ready to take them down. They did just that in a great 50-48 win back on April 10.

They have been great since that win, beating the Gators 39-13 and then blowing out the Schnow Tribe 80-0 three weeks ago.

It has been an impressive year for Trenton, but it needs another win on Sunday to claim the No. 1 seed and set itself up for a run at its first championship.

Paterson U, though, isn’t ready to let go of its title just yet and is looking to avenge that earlier season loss.

Paterson U did lose its next game to the Rare Breed 31-19 but bounced back with back-to-back wins against Renegades. Paterson U beat them twice in dominating fashion, 34-6 and 54-6.

Sunday it will look to stay hot and claim the Northeast Championship with a win over Trenton BIC.
