Whether you won or lost Week 1, Week 2 is here, and it is time to shift our focus to making sure you go 1-1 or 2-0 after this week. Last week, we hit and miss. I chose Van Jefferson as a sleeper when Puka Nacua went off. However, Luke Musgrave did put in eight points on three receptions for 50 yards which was good for TE13 on the week.

As a reminder, to be considered a sleeper in fantasy football heading into the first Sunday of the season, a player must be under 50% (despite doing 40% last week) rostered according to FantasyPro’s consensus roster percentage that takes the average roster percentages of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.

Joshua Kelley, RB, Chargers – 44.8% rostered

Joshua Kelley was one of the most added players this year with Sleeper estimating 273,800 people in the last day, millions since his performance in Week 1. Kelley found the end zone for six of his 15.10 fantasy points. He also ran 16 times for 91 yards averaging 5.7 yards per carry. He didn’t get any of the receiving work being behind Austin Ekeler in the pecking order. Ekeler ended with 16 carries for 117 yards and four receptions for 47 yards. However, what places Kelley on this list is the value of the workload. He almost outcarried Ekeler and with a potential injury to him and him wanting a smaller workload, the sky is the ceiling for Kelley.

Kendrick Bourne, WR, Patriots – 29.5% rostered

Kendrick Bourne was another surprising talent to arise out of New England last weekend. Many people thought the addition of Juju Smith-Schuster would make him the WR1. However, it was Bourne who stepped in with 11 targets. He reeled in six passes for 64 yards and found the end zone twice. That means Mac Jones is looking for him in those are to reach places. Bourne saw more targets than any other New England receiver and might again this week.

Luke Musgrave, TE, Packers – 17.1% rostered

Luke Musgrave was on this list last week and ended with eight points which was a solid showing for a rookie tight end in his first game. Jordan Love loves to spread the ball around with four players getting four or five targets each, which was the most of any receiver on the team. Outside of Doubs, who had four receptions, Musgrave reeled in most of his targets with three catches for 50 yards. He was also second to Aaron Jones in receiving yards.

Jordan Love, QB, Packers – 44.9% rostered

A couple of years ago, Jordan Love was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He would spend years behind Aaron Rodgers learning, growing and improving for this moment. Week 1 was his first official start as the QB1 for the Packers, and he did not disappoint. Taking on their division rivals, Love threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns completing 15 of 27 passes. He ended with a QBR of 73.3 and a Rating of 123.2. He was No. 3 in the NFL in yards per attempt last week too.

Roschon Johnson, RB, Bears – 27.4% rostered

On the other side of the ball in the Chicago game was a rising star in Roschon Johnson. The running back who spent his collegiate career being a 1-2 punch with Bijan Robinson, showed that he is a worthy back, especially in the passing game. He ran five times for 20 yards, but he caught six passes on seven targets for 35 yards. He was tied with Darnell Mooney and Cole Kmet for the most targets from Justin Fields in Week 1.
