Maxime Raynaud and No. 7 Stanford will take on Chucky Hepburn and No. 2 Louisville in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament on Thursday.

The No. 7-seeded Stanford will take on the No. 2-seeded Louisville in a quarterfinal matchup in the T. Rowe Price ACC Tournament at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Thursday afternoon. The Cardinal finished their season with a 20-12 record overall and were 11-9 against teams in the ACC for their first year in the conference. They were one game ahead of Georgia Tech and two games behind Wake Forest, UNC, and SMU. They opened the tournament in the second round against Cal and won by five points, 78-73.

Maxime Raynaud dominated the game with 23 points on 9-of-19 shooting and a team-high eight rebounds. Jaylen Blakes also played extremely well in his own right, finishing with a team-high six assists and 21 of his own points. Chisom Okpara gave the team a boost off the best, doubling his season average with 12 points in the win.

The No. 2-seeded Cardinals are 25-6 overall this season and finished 18-2 against teams in the conference. They tied with Clemson, but based on the conference’s tiebreakers, ended with the higher seed of the two. they closed out the season with three straight wins in March against Pitt, California, and Stanford, all by double-digits.

All-ACC first-team selection Chucky Hepburn leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 16.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. He was also on the ACC All-Defensive team. He is followed by Terrence Edwards Jr, who is averaging 15.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, shooting 43% from the field.
