Sevilla aims for third straight La Liga win as Mallorca looks for first away win in this series since 2013
On a two-match winning streak, Sevilla returns to Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium today for a home match against Mallorca aiming for its sixth consecutive win in La Liga over the visitors since 2010. Mallorca has been shut out in consecutive matches and has only scored one goal in its last four outings sitting six points clear of the relegation line with seven matches to play. After three consecutive fourth-place finishes, Sevilla is nine points above the relegation line and is inching closer to securing a spot in the top division of Spanish football for the 24th year in a row.

Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri leads Sevilla with 11 goals in 21 matches this season, his second-best goal scoring campaign since netting 18 for the club back in 2020-21. The 26-year-old striker has 64 career goals in La Liga, 46 having come with Sevilla over the last five seasons.

Mallorca’s last victory at Sevilla came in the 2013 Copa del Ray coming from being down 1-0 at the half by scoring a pair of goals in four minutes as Alejandro Alfaro netted the eventual game winner. The last win in La Liga for Mallorca against Sevilla came in November of 2010 by an identical 2-1 scoreline.
