The two quarterfinals on the day are set to be disputed between top-ranked Jannik Sinner going up against the unseeded Canadian pro Felix Auger-Aliassime, and the No. 3-seeded Daniil Medvedev facing the No. 30-seeded Jiri Lehecka. The 2024 Australian Open champion dropped his first set of the tournament in the round of 16 matchup against Karen Khachanov on Tuesday. The Italian star ended up winning the final two sets of the meeting against the Russian 6-3, 6-3, after losing the first set 7-5. Before that, Sinner got past both Pavel Kotov and Lorenzo Sonego in straight sets in the third and second rounds respectively.

The Russian Grand Slam winner beat Alexander Bublik in straight sets on Tuesday, 7-6, 6-4.
Lehecka, meanwhile, is fresh off of a straight set victory over the King of Clay Rafa Nadal on Tuesday, 7-5, 6-4. Before that, the Czech pro beat both Thiago Monteiro and Hamad Medjedovic in straight sets.
