Through the first three rounds of the tournament, the Horned Frogs were dominant. They routed each opponent in straight sets. Then, in the quarterfinals, the Horned Frogs stepped up for an upset victory over the third-seeded Buckeyes in a seven-set nail-biter.

The Horned Frogs are the lowest-ranked seed remaining in the tournament. They upset the third seed and are in a position to get back to the finals against a very familiar opponent.

On the other side of the bracket, top-seeded Wake Forest is challenged by fourth-seeded Virginia. The winner of that matchup will take on the winner of the Horned Frogs and Longhorns for the NCAA Men’s Team Tennis Championships.
