The Red Raiders can’t be taken for granted though, going 48-12 overall and dominating in conference play. Texas Tech earned its first Big 12 regular season title this season going 20-4 in league play. The Red Raiders earned the Big 12 crown in the conference tournament, winning all three of its games by a combined score of 26-0. That included a 4-0 shutout against No. 2 Arizona in the final. Texas Tech is fueled by its outstanding pitcher NiJaree Canady, who has a lethal 0.92 ERA and a 28-5 record. Canady’s ERA is second in the nation and has the second-most wins in a season in program history.

What is unreal to think about is that FSU has made 11 of its 12 Super Regionals in the last 12 years. This will be Florida State’s seventh time hosting this round. The Seminoles were strong in the regional round despite one loss, outscoring their opponents 22-1 in their three wins. FSU has a phenomenal pitcher of its own in Ashtyn Danley, who threw 10 scoreless innings in the last round, picking up two wins.
