The million dollar grand prize is on the line in the final of the women’s bracket in The Soccer Tournament with NC Courage and US Women facing. The open-entry, seven-on-seven competition from the creators of The Basketball Tournament (TBT) began last year with a single 32-team bracket. This year’s expanded edition, which runs through Monday, features a 48-team men’s bracket and an eight-team women’s bracket, each of which has a $1M payout. Professional men’s clubs represented include Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, Wrexham, Burnley FC and North Carolina FC (USL). Entrants on the women’s side include Angel City (NWSL), North Carolina Courage (NWSL), Tampa Bay Sun (USL Super League) and a returning team of USWNT alumni.

NC Courage defeated Streetball FC Canada 2-0 on Sunday to advance to the final. This isn’t the actual NWSL team, but is sponsored by the North Carolina Courage and features former Courage star and USWNT member Jessica McDonald. Madison Wolfbauer scored both goals in the semifinals win.

US Women defeated Tampa Bay Sun FC 4-0 on Sunday to earn a spot in the final. This team features a number of players with USWNT experience, including Ali Krieger, Allie Long, Casey Loyd, Cat Whitehill, Heather O’Reilly, Jill Loyden, Jo Lohman, Lori Lawson, Lori Lindsey and Stephanie McCaffrey.
