John Baptiste Hakizimana and the APGA Farmers Insurance Invitational will wrap up the two-day tournament with the final round on Sunday.

The APGA is an inclusive, non-profit organization with the mission to prepare African American and other minority golfers to compete at the highest level, the PGA. This tournament will take place at the Torrey Pines Golf Course, North and South Courses. This will be the final round of the tournament streaming today on the Golf Channel. Last year, Michael Herrera won by just one stroke. He shot a 74 in Round 2 after dominating the first round with a 72 score. That was his fourth career APGA Tour win. He was followed by John-Baptiste Hakizimana.

The field will consist of 18 players, including the top player ending the 2023-2024 season in the Bridgestone APGA Collegiate rankings, who was Cole Stevens. The other players in the field will be competing for a $30,000 first-place purse and a $100,000 overall purse. The top six eligible players from the final 2024 APGA Cisco Cup point list include Chase Johnson, Luis Gagne, Brian Ohr, Jarred Garcia, Kevin Hall, and Andrew Walker.

The top three eligible players from the final 2024 APGA Farmers Fall Series standings include Troy Taylor II, Wyatt Worthington, and Donald Key. Kieron van Wyk from the College of Charleston earned entry as the top player in the 2024-2025 Bridgestone APGA Collegiate Ranking as of October 30, 2024.

The top player from the 2024 APGA Cisco Junior Series presented by APGA Tour and Cameron Champ was Roman Solomon, he will compete in this tournament. The last six players are nominated by the APGA Tour and approved by the exemption committee. Those players will be Gergory Odom Jr, Jaime Lopez Rivarola, John Baptiste Hakizimana, Aaron Beverly, Aaron Grimes, and Michael Bradham.
