No. 9 Arizona State (22-3) takes a four-match winning streak and a two-match lead in the Big 12 Conference standings as it embarks on its final road trip of the season, taking on UCF (16-10) on Wednesday night. The Sun Devils seek their second straight Big 12 title after winning the conference in its first season in the league in 2024 and come into Wednesday night with a 13-1 record, two matches better than Kansas. The Knights come off a win in their last match and are 7-8 in Big 12 play.

Arizona State righted the ship on Saturday afternoon at then-No. 22 Colorado, recovering in the fifth set to claim a 25-19, 25-22, 18-25, 21-25, 15-12 victory. The Sun Devils ran off the final five points of the match, ending it with Tatum Parrott’s kill. Noemie Glover paced the attack with 31 kills and also had four blocks, while Ella Lewis and Jillian Neal each served up two aces. Colby Neal finished with 10 kills and nine blocks, Faith Frame made 11 digs and Sydney Henry logged 50 assists.

UCF rolled to a sweep at West Virginia on Friday night, 25-18, 25-22, 25-20. Avah Armour notched 17 kills, Ella Chapman had six blocks and Reaghan Thompson logged 14 kills and four blocks. Fallon Stewart served a pair of aces, Alexa Haley made 17 digs and Abby Schomers popped up 38 assists.

Wednesday’s match marks the only meeting between the teams this season. The Sun Devils swept the Knights at home on Nov. 29 to close out the regular season to improve to 2-0 in the all-time series. Arizona State lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament last season, while UCF’s last tournament bid came in 2022.
