The Gunners haven’t contested a Champions League decider since 2006, but the wheels appear to be falling off the bus at exactly the wrong time after going their last three games without a win. Ligue 1 champion PSG has also hit something of a sticky patch after winning just one of its last four games in all competitions, but even a draw will be enough to book the club’s second final appearance in Europe’s elite tournament.

More than eight years on and the stakes are a lot higher in the penultimate round of the competition, though PSG will benefit having been able to rest key stars since clinching yet another Ligue 1 crown.
