The first match in League C, Group four, features Georgia and Gibraltar as each club looks to start the year with some momentum and a win. The UEFA Nations League is a six match league for each group that then leads to playoffs, promotions or relegation for clubs and is very important to the future of the clubs involved. There are 55 clubs competing to be called the best club in the UEFA Nations League.

The UEFA Nations League is starting this week with 55 clubs aiming to win the league and tournament this season.
In last year’s UEFA Nations League Georgia was in Group C and Gibraltar was in Group D. After winning their Group, Gibraltar advanced to Group C and now gets to face the next level of competition this year.
Gibraltar was in a group with Liechtenstein and San Marino going 2-2-0 with eight points showing that the club is ready for tougher competition.
Seeing how a club reacts to being in a tougher league, with better overall clubs around it, is one of the most interesting factors in international soccer. Gibraltar has leveled up and Georgia is its first test this year in the UEFA Nations League.
