Unbeaten Latvia is running away with Group D1 as the Latvians look to take care of business against Liechtenstein today.
Latvia (3-0-0) has rolled through Group D1 in the UEFA Nations League, but its most formidable challenge came from winless Liechtenstein (0-3-0). On Tuesday, the Latvians visit Vaduz for the rematch of their 1-0 victory in Riga on June 6.

Latvia completed a sweep of the first half of group play with a 4-2 win at Moldova on Friday. Liechtenstein lost at Andorra 2-1 the same day.
Vladislavs Gutkovskis and Janis Ikaunieks each scored a brace in Friday’s win and Ikaunieks has a team-high three goals in the tournament for Latvia. In its loss Friday, Liechtenstein conceded two goals, one on a penalty, in the final 12 minutes of the second half before Livio Meier, its lone goal scored three minutes into extra time.
In the first meeting between the sides, Artūrs Zjuzins got the match’s only goal in the 73rd minute for Latvia. Pāvels Šteinbors recorded the clean sheet in goal.
In 10 previous matches between the national teams, Latvia is 8-1-1. Liechtenstein’s lone victory came during the 2007 Euros.
