Former light heavyweight title contenders Jamahail Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr. meet in Saturday’s UFC Fight Night main event. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

Both Khalil Rountree Jr. and Jamahal Hill are hoping to earn their way back into contention for the UFC light heavyweight championship this Saturday when they meet in the main event of the latest Fight Night card. The 205lb duo are each coming off the back of losses as they travel to Baku in Azerbaijan, which will become the 31st country to host a UFC event when it opens its doors to the MMA elite this weekend. Victory on Saturday could fire either fighter back into the mix for a shot at incumbent light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev, who is still yet to make his first title defense.

Hill, 34, currently sits fourth in the light heavyweight rankings while Rountree Jr., 35, occupies seventh, and given their age profiles, there’s a chance this may be the last chance either fighter gets for a run at UFC gold.

Both fighters have faced former champion Alex Pereira and lost, though Hill’s first-round KO defeat last April is less celebrated than Rountree managing to make it to the fourth round in October 2024.

And the pair have been exchanging verbal barbs in the build-up to their bout, with Hill doubling down after dubbing Rountree’s defeat to Pereira boring from the cageside:

In the co-main, home favorite Rafael Fiziev is looking to revive his own title bid at lightweight after three successive defeats to Justin Gaethje (twice) and Mateusz Gamrot.

He faces rising talent Ignacio Bahamondes, who has finished each of his last three opponents and won Performance of the Night on all three occasions.

Not only that, but Curtis Blaydes will re-enter the Octagon for the first time since suffering a 60-second KO defeat to Tom Aspinall when he faces Russian Rizvan Kuniev.

Kuniev is a two-time winner on Dana White’s Contender Series and finally makes his UFC debut at the fourth time of asking, having had two previous dates against Blaydes scrapped in recent months.

Regional restrictions may apply.
