UFC 313 will serve up a packed prelim schedule before Alex Pereira faces Magomed Ankalaev on Saturday. Watch the fights live and for free on Fubo today.

Alex Pereira will take on what has the potential to be one of the biggest threats on his UFC light heavyweight championship when the two fighters face off at UFC 313 in Nevada on Saturday. ‘Poatan’ is undefeated at 205lbs and will attempt to make his fourth straight successful defense of the belt at the T-Mobile Arena, taking on a Dagestani challenger whose last loss fell back in March 2018. However, a packed prelim card has its own allure as four fights set the tone for the action to come, including a crescendo involving another former title challenger in Curtis ‘Razor’ Blaydes.

Curtis Blaydes vs. Rizvan Kuniev

UFC veteran Blaydes will headline the prelim card against unfortunate debutant Rizvan Kuniev, who could be in for a rude awakening making his UFC entrance against such esteemed opposition.

Nearly 12 months have passed since Blaydes was last in the Octagon, suffering a revenge loss to Tom Aspinall almost exactly one year after a knee injury saw the Briton lose their initial encounter:

But while Blaydes’ recent record may not impress, the 34-year-old wrestling talent may feel Kuniev is his key to igniting one more potential run at UFC heavyweight gold.

Joshua Van vs. Rei Tsuruya

Undefeated flyweight Rei Tsuruya made his UFC debut at UFC 303, another card headlined by Pereira, and he’ll hope the Brazilian phenomenon grants him more good fortune against Joshua Van come Saturday.

The 10-0 Japanese contender has displayed a very rounded base thus far in his career, racking up as many knockout wins as submission victories (four apiece) – but 12-2 Van presents a risky route in his sophomore outing.

‘The Fearless’ has lost just once in six UFC outings – a KO loss to Charles Johnson last July – and has a level of striking IQ that’s sure to put 22-year-old Tsuruya’s unblemished record to the test.

Brunno Ferreira vs. Armen Petrosyan

Armen Petrosyan may find his UFC future is at serious risk unless he can get the better of Brunno Ferreira, having suffered stoppage defeats in each of his last two outings.

Much has changed since Petrosyan’s stunning KO of Kaloyan Kolev on Dana White’s Contender Series back in 2021 earned him his first UFC contract, with his record declining to 8-4 over the past 13 months.

A win over 12-2 Ferreira would offset any slide into irrelevance, but ‘The Hulk’ – himself a DWCS graduate – is a scary prospect considering he hasn’t gone to a decision in any of his 14 professional fights (nine KO wins, three submissions).

Alex Morono vs. Carlos Leal

Saturday’s prelim card opens with a welterweight bout between Carlos Leal and steep underdog Alex Morono, who is another who could find himself out of a UFC contract unless he gets a win on the board.

‘The Great White’ (24-11) is currently on a two-loss skid and has won just two of his last six fights, losing much of the momentum that saw him gain a lot of attention earlier on in his UFC career.

Leal (21-6) is also coming off the back of a loss following his debut defeat to Rinat Fakhretdinov in October, hoping Morono will offer him the opening needed to get his first UFC win.
