The UFC returns to Montreal on Saturday as three enticing fights open the card on the early prelims. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

Two title fights headline UFC 315 on Saturday as Belal Muhammad puts his welterweight belt on the line for the first time against Jack Della Maddalena in the co-main event. That’s after women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko also stages her first defense of the 125lb crown, taking on French favorite Manon Fiorot in a clash that promises no small amount of fireworks in Montreal, Canada. However, a stacked event hosting no fewer than 12 fights will kick off with a three-bout early prelims card that promises to set the tone for what should be an event worth tuning in for.

Marc-Andre Barriault vs. Bruno Silva

Home favorite Marc-Andre Barriault returns to home soil against Bruno Silva in Quebec hoping to put a stop to his three-loss slide, having suffered vicious knockout defeats in his last two outings.

Joe Pyfer put the 35-year-old veteran to sleep with an ungodly finish at UFC 303 almost one year ago, though Barriault has since suffered another clear-cut stoppage against Dustin Stoltzfus in November:

It just so happens opponent Silva is on an even worse run of four straight defeats and has won just one of his seven fights since the start of 2022, offering the hometown ‘Power Bar’ a big ray of hope.

Daniel Santos vs. Jeong-yeong Lee

After almost two years outside of the Octagon, Daniel Santos returns to action against the well-rounded Jeong-yeong Lee on Saturday.

‘Willycat’ was last scheduled to face Davey Grant in April but had to withdraw from the bout at late notice due to ‘medical issues’, marking his fifth cancellation from his last nine bookings.

The Brazilian replaced Gavin Tucker on less than two weeks’ notice to bag this fight against Lee, who is 2-1 in the UFC (11-1 overall) after a first-round loss to Hyder Amil last July.

Brad Katona vs. Bekzat Almakhan

The early prelims open with a clash between two-time The Ultimate Fighter champion Brad Katona and Kazakh contender Bekzat Almakhan.

It was in March last year that Almakhan suffered defeat in his UFC debut, albeit against an incredibly difficult first test in Umar Nurmagomedov, cousin of UFC great and former lightweight champion Khabib.

That adds a hint of personal spice to the card’s opening clash considering Katona has long trained with Khabib’s rival, Conor McGregor, in Dublin and will look to impose his wrestle-heavy style from the offset.
