The main attraction on Saturday’s prelim card is a war of welterweights between 12-2 Oban Elliot  and UFC debutant Ko Seok-hyun, each of whom earned their pass via Dana White’s Contender Series.

‘The Welsh Gangster’ has won his last eight consecutive fights and boasts a perfect 3-0 record in the UFC, most recently finishing Bassil Hafez at UFC 309 last November:

However, he meets an even greater knockout threat in Ko, who put together a run of three straight finishes before beating 9-0 Igor Cavalcanti by decision in September to get his UFC call-up.

Prior to that, middleweights Ismail Naurdiev and Park Jun-yong will meet at 185lbs in a clash between two talents looking to build on their most recent wins from October.

Naurdiev impressed en route to a decision win over Bruno Silva, while ‘The Iron Turtle’ got the better over Brad Tavares via the narrowest of margins and is now looking to build another streak.

Fans also won’t want to miss the prelim opener between heavyweights Mohammed Usman, brother of former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru, and Egypt’s Hamdy Abdelwahab.

Abdelwahab was pushed to a decision for the first time in his career when he beat Jamal Pogues last time out, while Usman hopes to snap a streak of back-to-back decision defeats.
