A mid-week matchup will see the Boston College Eagles host the UMass Minutewomen at Harrington Athletics Village as the teams meet in a non-conference rivalry game on Wednesday night. The team picked up a 4-3 win over Pitt in its series-opener against the Panthers and went on to win the second game in a 6-5 victory to secure the series in, but dropped the finale 6-2 and lost to UConn on Tuesday in a 7-0 shutout. While the Eagles held off the Huskies in the first two innings, they went on to score seven unanswered runs from the third inning on to secure the win. Kelly Colleran took the loss in the circle after giving up one earned run in five innings. Only two of UConn’s runs were earned as a series of fielding errors did the Eagles in.
