Last week, the Renegades defeated the St. Louis Battlehawks 36-22, while the Defenders defeated the Memphis Showboats 36-21. Both teams come into this contest with some momentum as they look to close the year out with a win.
These teams met back in April, with the Defenders coming away with a 29-28 win over Arlington. Jordan Ta’amu threw a pair of touchdowns for the winning side. D.C. trailed by 10 with under a minute to play, but Cam’Ron Harris scored a rushing touchdown with 48 seconds to play and then Matthew McCrane ended things with a field goal.
