The Battlehawks will be hosting the San Antonio Brahmas in a rematch from last year’s playoffs to open the UFL season.

Sunday night, it’s the final game of Week 2 of the 2025 UFL season. To close things out, the St. Louis Battlehawks (1-0) play their first home game of the year at The Dome at America’s Center, hosting the San Antonio Brahmas (0-1). Not only is this St. Louis’ home opener, it’s also a rematch from last year’s playoffs. The Battlehawks and Brahamas met in the XFL Conference Championship Game last year after finishing first and second respectively in the division last year. San Antonio won that game 25-15, before losing in the UFL Championship last week.

The teams also met twice during the regular season. San Antonio swept both of those meetings. That included a 31-24 win in Texas, and then a 13-12 win in the final week of the regular season in St. Louis.

Now, the Battlehawks get to go for revenge in front of what is considered the best crowd in the UFL. The Battlehawks averaged 33,677 fans per game in attendance in 2024, which was more than double the next closest team.

Last week the Battlehawks opened the season on the road and got things started on the right foot. They beat the Houston Roughnecks 31-6, with running back Jarveon Howard rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. San Antonio lost its opener last week, falling 33-9 to the Arlington Renegades.
