With the Birmingham Stallions losing 24-20 to the Memphis Showboats on Friday night, the Panthers can take a full game lead in the USFL Conference with a win over the Battlehawks in this one. Meanwhile, St. Louis is battling to keep pace in the XFL conference, as the Battlehawks look up at two 3-1 teams in the Arlington Renegades and DC Defenders.

Michigan comes into this game after a big win last week over the Showboats. The Panthers posted both their highest points total of the season as well as fewest points allowed, as they won that game at home 27-9.

Meanwhile, the Battlehawks are trying to rebound from back-to-back losses after opening the season with back-to-back wins. Head coach Anthony Becht’s team fell 30-15 last week, on the road against the Renegades.

This will be the first and only meeting between the Panthers and Battlehawks this year. Last season they met in Week 1 at Ford Field, with Michigan winning that game 18-16.
