The Arlington Renegades will try to stay undefeated when they visit the defending champion Birmingham Stallions to kick off Week 3 of UFL action on Friday night.

Week 3 action of the 2025 UFL season gets underway on Friday night in Alabama. In the first of four matchups this weekend the Arlington Renegades (2-0) visit the Birmingham Stallions (1-1) at Protective Stadium. Arlington has started the 2025 season undefeated, making the Renegades one of three teams in the XFL Conference to do so. Now, they’ll try to keep pace against a team that has won its league championship in each of the last three seasons (two in the USFL and then in the UFL last year).

Arlington began the season with a high-scoring win at home, beating the San Antonio Brahmas 33-9. Then last week the Renegades took on another Texas team at home, and beat the Houston Roughnecks 11-9. This will be the first road test of the year for the Renegades.

On offense, Arlington has both the leading passer and rusher in the league. Quarterback Luis Perez has thrown for 375 yards over the first two weeks, while running back Kalen Ballage has run for 148 yards. As a team, Arlington is averaging 22 points per game which ranks second in the UFL behind the St. Louis BattleHawks.

Birmingham comes into this game after its first win of the year in Week 2. They went on the road and beat the Michigan Panthers 21-12, with wide receiver Deon Cain turning in a big performance with four catches for 84 yards and a touchdown.
