In an interconference in-state UFL matchup, the Arlington Renegades take on the Houston Roughnecks to begin a double-header for the league on Sunday wrapping up Week 2.

Week 2 of the 2025 UFL season wraps up on Sunday with a pair of games. The first of the two is an in-state matchup between two Texas teams from opposite conferences as the Arlington Renegades (1-0) host the Houston Roughnecks (0-1) at Choctaw Stadium. It will be the second home game in as many week for the Renegades to open the 2025 season. Houston was at home last week and will now be on the road for the first time this season.

This is the second week in a row Arlington is taking on an in-state opponent. The Renegades hosted the San Antonio Brahmas last week, and came away with a convincing 33-9 win. Arlington dominated in the run game in that one. As a team they ran for 183 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries. Running back Kalen Ballage alone ran for 110 yards and a touchdown on nine carries, including a 77-yarder.

Houston hosted the St. Louis Battlehawks last week, and lost that game 31-6. Wide receiver Justin Hall had five catches for 40 yards and a touchdown in that one.

These teams met once last year, in Houston. The Roughnecks won that game 17-9. Houston held Arlington to just 193 total yards of offense in that game.
