Virginia Tech and Syracuse will look to move up in the ACC standings with a win on Saturday, hoping to qualify for postseason play.

With only three regular season games remaining, the Syracuse Orange and the Virginia Tech Hokies have their eyes on winning one game at a time in the hopes of making it into the ACC Tournament. With only 15 teams qualifying, both Syracuse and Virginia Tech have not secured a spot as they are currently sitting in 13th and 12th place, respectively. The Orange are currently 6-11 in conference play and 12-16 overall. The team picked up a 74-60 win over NC State its last time out, but has struggled with teams higher up in the standings this season. J.J. Starling led the Orange offensively, scoring 17 points while Jyáre Davis ad Eddie Lampkin Jr. also finished in double figures with 15 and 14 points, respectively. Lampkin Jr. earned a double-double in the win, pulling down an impressive 15 rebounds, 13 of which were defensive.
