The Huskies started off the season great with an eight-game winning streak, so these last few games kind of feel like an anomaly for Washington.

UCLA is at the top of the conference standings with Iowa. The win was the Bruins’ 10th in a row, with Kiki Rice and Lauren Betts being too much for the Gophers. Rice scored a game-high 25 points, and she only missed one shot. Betts put up her third triple-double. Amaya Battle still had a good game, leading the Gophers with 16 points.

Not all is lost for Minnesota, as it won its two previous games, including a nail-biter, beating No. 21 USC 63-62 last Sunday, which is the Gophers’ first win over a ranked opponent since 2019. This game will be more manageable than the UCLA matchup, but Minnesota will still have its hands full on the road tonight.
