It has been a rough and slow start to her WNBA career as Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (0-2) look for their first win of the season today. They take on the New York Liberty (2-0) for the second time in three days after New York cruised to a 102-66 win in the first game. Clark had a markedly better game than she did in her WNBA debut cleaning up the turnovers (three) and stuffing the stat sheet for nine points, seven rebounds and six assists in the loss. Through two games Clark is averaging 14.5 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game with 13 turnovers and 30-28-100 shooting splits.

Through two games Clark is averaging 14.5 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game with 13 turnovers and 30-28-100 shooting splits. The majority of those turnovers came in her debut (10) where she set a WNBA record for the most turnovers in a players debut.
New York looked significantly better in its second game after being pushed to the limit against the Washington Mystics in the season-opener. They jumped out to a 25-16 lead after the first period and a 48-31 lead at the half. Indiana made it interesting in the third period, cutting into the score, but New York turned the screws in the fourth with a 35-10 run.
Four of the five starters finished in double-figures scoring led by Breanna Stewart with 31 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks in an MVP-caliber performance to keep New York undefeated to start the season.
