A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces take on Nneka Ogwumike and the Seattle Storm on Tuesday.

Home court advantage in the first round of the WNBA playoffs could be on the line Tuesday as the Seattle Storm (24-14) host the Las Vegas Aces (25-13). Currently Las Vegas holds a one game lead over Seattle, but if Seattle wins Tuesday it will tie the season series and win the second tiebreaker with a better conference record. Seattle would also need to win its regular season finale to finish as the fourth seed in the playoffs. This game will not only have a playoff atmosphere, but also an All-Star Game feel with the likes of A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young, Kelsey Plum and Chelsea Gray on Las Vegas and Jewell Loyd, Nneka Ogwumike, Skylar Diggins-Smith and Ezi Magbegor on Seattle.

Las Vegas has won two of the first three games in the season series with all three games decided by 13 points or less. The last time the teams played came just before the Olympic break with Las Vegas winning 84-79 and fueled by a monster third quarter with the team playing its best basketball of the series on both ends of the floor.

Young led the way for Las Vegas with 27 points, five rebounds and four assists while Wilson, the only player in league history with a 1,000 point season, went for 24 points and 20 rebounds in the win. Wilson can add to her now record single-season point total over the last two games of the season starting Tuesday against Seattle, a team she is averaging 26.7 points per game against this year.

Loyd led the way with 28 points on 8-of-22 shooting for Seattle in the loss. It will need another big scoring night from Loyd along with great two-way play from Ogwumike and Magbegor to come away with a win.
