The WNBA Finals is tied heading into Game 3 between the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday.

The 2024 WNBA Finals started off as a best-of-five series and is now a best-of-three after the teams split the first two games in the Big Apple. Heading into Game 3 the Minnesota Lynx (1-1) stole home court advantage as the scene shifts to the home of the four-time WNBA Champions. In Game 1 Minnesota won in an instant classic, an overtime thriller that saw the team come back from a 15-point deficit in the final five minutes of regulation. Making a comeback was not in the cards for Game 2 however after New York once again jumped out to an early double digit lead. New York slammed the door on any potential comeback in Game 2 with stifling defense, allowing just 27 points in the second half. Now the series is a best-of-three with Napheesa Collier looking to win the franchises record fifth championship and Breanna Stewart trying to give New York its first.
