Phoenix (11–4) has been rolling and brings a five-game win streak into Friday night’s cross-conference battle. The team has been dominating the Western Conference recently and will look to keep its win streak going on Friday night. With Satou Sabally leading the offense (19.3 PPG, 8.1 RPG, 2.6 APG) and Alyssa Thomas assisting to offense, the Mercury are firing on all cylinders. Rookie Lexi Held has provided a reliable scoring punch off the bench (8.7 PPG in 20.7 MPG), but suffered a partially collapsed lung and is out indefinitely.

The teams met just last weekend and saw the Mercury earn an 89-81 victory in New York after capitalizing on their hot shooting and superior frontcourt cohesion.
