The Seattle Storm clinched a playoff spot and visit the Connecticut Sun in a battle for seeding on Tuesday

The Seattle Storm (19-13) clinched a WNBA playoff berth on Friday, continuing a bounceback from a dismal 2023 season. On Tuesday, the Storm take on the Connecticut Storm (24-8) for the second straight game. The Sun are still in the mix for the No. 1 overall seed. With eight games remaining, Seattle is a game behind the defending champion Las Vegas Aces for fourth place and homecourt in the first round while the Sun are two-and-a-half games back of the New York Liberty for the top spot on the bracket. Meanwhile, Connecticut leads the Minnesota Lynx by just a half-game while the Storm has a two-and-a-half game edge over the surging Indiana Fever, who have won four in a row and eight of 10.
